zapatos olvidados / forgotten shoes

Los animales colgados en los muros, no eran lo único que llamaba la atención en la vieja zapatería. A parte de la decoración que nos llevaba 40 años atras, los zapatos parecían perdidos en el tiempo. El dueño del lugar también descartó hace mucho tiempo la idea de vender unos pares de zapatos "tan pasados de moda", que el único uso que encontró fué para guardar chucherías.

The animals hanging on the walls weren't the only thing that caught our attention in the old shoe store. Aside from the decoration that transported us 40 years into the past, the shoes themselves appeared lost in time. Indeed, the shop owner had long dismissed the idea of selling his more out-of-style offerings, and the only use he found for them was as a makeshift storage box.
